The Barbados Meteorological Services is closely monitoring the progress of two low-pressure areas located near 15N 40W and 12N 33W of the island.
These systems are about 2125 km and 3100 km respectively to the east of Barbados.
Both low-pressure areas are expected to track north of the island over the weekend.
However, there are no watches or warnings in effect for Barbados.
These systems are forecast to bring light wind speeds, uncomfortably warm days and heat stress.
The Met Office says environmental conditions are conducive to the slow development of these systems over the coming days.
Additionally, localised afternoon showers are likely to continue during the coming days.
The public is encouraged to monitor official sources for further updates over the coming days.
