Scores of people across the island are currently without electricity following a power outage this morning.
In a post on social media, the Barbados Light and Power said they are aware of the outage affecting customers, and confirmed that teams are investigating the cause.
The company has also advised the public that currently its phone system is offline.
BL&P has apologised for the inconvenience caused and thanked the public for its patience as it works to promptly and safely restore power.
