The Parkinson Memorial School reportedly has a bed bug problem.
This is according to General Secretary of the Barbados Union of Teachers, Herbert Gittens.
He was contacted by CBC News, following a report that an unconfirmed number of teachers had not turned up for school this morning.
Mr. Gittens says the bug problem came to the fore last week and was reported to the board of management.
