A local consumer body is questioning the move by insurers to raise motor insurance premiums at this time.
The Barbados Consumer Empowerment Network (BCEN) is not convinced the insurance providers have made their case for an increase.
Just two days ago, President of the General Insurance Association of Barbados, Randy Graham outlined the reasons why some insurers are raising their premiums but BCEN Executive Director Maureen Holder is not impressed with the explanation.
Ms. Holder says BCEN needs answers to several questions before it can accept the decision by the insurers.
