Barbados is to host a follow-up symposium on crime with regional heads in Guyana in the coming months.
It comes over a year after Trinidad and Tobago played host to a similar meeting.
Ambassador to CARICOM, David Comissiong says the meeting is planned for late November.
He adds that Caribbean leaders are working to address the situation.
