Barbados will be announcing several new diplomatic appointments in short order.
That’s according to Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade, Kerrie Symmonds.
He says the appointments will form part of the country’s effort to increase trade opportunities for local business people.
Miniser Symmonds was speaking during the launch of the Barbados Diaspora Connection Campaign at the St. James Parish Church.
As the island prepares to host ‘We Gatherin’ next year, Mr. Symmonds says his Ministry is seeking to deepen its relationship with the Barbadian Diaspora.
