Barbados has made a plea at the ongoing World Health Assembly for shared technology on pharmaceuticals, as it reinforces the need for global preparedness for the next pandemic.
Chief Medical Officer Dr. the Most Honourable Kenneth George, who is representing the island in Geneva, told the forum no country is safe until all countries are safe.
He has welcomed efforts to negotiate an international agreement on pandemic prevention, preparedness and response.
