Barbados has reaffirmed its commitment to protecting the rights and dignity of every child.
This message was conveyed by Minister of Labour, Social Security and the Third Sector, Colin Jordan in his message for World Day Against Child Labour.
It is being observed under theme, ‘Let’s Act on Our Commitments: End Child Labour.
The Ministry of Education, Technological and Vocational Training is onboard with the global call to end child labour.
Chief Education Officer Dr. Ramona Archer-Bradshaw says Barbados values its children and has prioritised their access to education.
