Hundreds of Barbadians today benefited from free meals as Barbados for the first time observed World Hunger Day.
Teams from the Barbados Alliance to End Homelessness ventured out into various communities across the island serving cooked dishes.
One of the first stops was the Golden Rock Community Centre in The Pine.
Community Relations Assistant with the alliance, Sashana Austin, says the locations were chosen after discussions with Government officials.
