In what could be boost for Barbados’ tourism industry, the island is included among the destinations in the Best of the World 2025 List by National Geographic.
The publication’s Annual list of 25 destination caters to a variety of interests – from foodies to adventure seekers and families.
The list is based on the insights and expertise of National Geographic’s travel experts and editors, including up-and-coming and perennial destinations.
Barbados Tourism Marketing Incorporated USA Director Peter Mmayers says the BTMI is extremely honoured and proud of National Geographic’s team of travel experts and Nat Geo traveller’s international editorial teams had recognised Bridgetown as the only regional destination in its highly regarded Best of the World 2025 List.
Others on the list include Los Angeles, California; the Ocala National Forest in Florida; Senegal and Bangkok, Thailand.
