Barbados is boosting its airlift capacity out of North America.
According to Tourism Minister Ian Gooding-Edghill, the projection is that they will be adding in excess of fifty thousand seats.
Speaking at his St. Michael West Central branch meeting, the Tourism Minister revealed that American Airlines is to resume flights out of John F. Kennedy Airport in New York in November.
Minister Gooding-Edghill also says Delta Airlines will be returning to Barbados with flights out of Atlanta.
He says Delta has also decided to extend its winter service from May right through to September.
