Prime Minister Mia Amor Mottley is calling on Barbadians to wear their national colours tomorrow, August 9, 2024, in support of Sada Williams.
Williams will become the first woman to represent Barbados in an Olympics track final, when the Women’s 400m final comes off at 2:00 p.m.
Prime Minister Mottley has called on the nation to come together to support her, and let her know the country is with her in spirit.
Williams qualified for the final on August 7 with a time of 49.89 in her semifinal heat.
