Barbadians are being encouraged to take advantage of the heavy rainfall the country has been experiencing this month.
This from the National Project Coordinator for the Water Sector Resilience Nexus for Sustainability in Barbados initiative, Alex Harewood.
He was speaking at one of several town halls to sensitise the public about the multimillion dollar project being co-implemented by the Caribbean Community Climate Change Centre and the Barbados Water Authority.
Mr. Harewood told a meeting at the St. Anne Church in St. Joseph that hundreds of homes and key institutions would be equipped with water tanks.
