For yet another year, Barbadians will be given the opportunity to apply for the Energy Development Scholarship.
It is envisioned to aid the island’s energy transition by allowing Barbadians to pursue postgraduate programmes of study relating to offshore energy development.
Speaking at the launch for the 2024 scholarship, Energy Minister Senator Lisa Cummins encouraged people between the ages of 21 and 45 to apply.
She adds the local energy sector is poised for further growth and various aspects will be soon coming on stream.
