Here in Barbados, the Ashley Lashley Foundation celebrated CARICOM Day with a special ceremony to endorse aspiring young artistes at Shirley Chisholm Primary.
Students also participated in cultural presentations.
In her speech, CARICOM Youth Ambassador and the Foundation’s Executive Director, Ashley Lashley, reminded students of their important role in maintaining the future of CARICOM.
She also addressed the improvements needed to solidify the integration movement.
