Parliamentary Secretary in the Ministry of People Empowerment and Elder Affairs, Corey Lane suggests they are very anti-age in focus, with products that do not embrace the elderly.
Mr. Lane says ageism remains a challenge in Barbados.
He updated the Pan American Health Organisation and the Organisation of American States on strides made, saying ageing must be looked at through a multifaceted lens.
