Five people were injured after a Transport Board bus crashed along Constant Road, St. George around 10:00 this morning
Police say the bus was travelling along the above mentioned road in the direction of Bridgetown with 12 passengers on board. While going through the roundabout the left front tyre blew out, causing the driver to lose control.
The bus then collided with the rocky embankment on the right side of the road, and received extensive damage to its front.
Police say the injuries are not considered serious, however, individuals complained of pain in the neck and about other parts of their bodies.
Four of the injured were transported to the QEH by ambulance for medical treatment.
Bus driver Kenneth Forde is among the injured.
