202 people (95 males and 107 females) tested positive for COVID-19 on Monday, July 4th, from the 817 tests carried out by the Best-dos Santos Public Health Laboratory.
The cases comprise 35 people under the age of 18, and 167 who are 18 years and older.
There were 111 people in isolation facilities, while 1,246 were in home isolation.
The public health laboratory has conducted 707,799 tests since February 2020, and recorded 85,121 COVID-19 cases (38,952 males and 46,169 females).
Under the National Vaccination Programme for COVID-19, the total number of people with at least one dose is 162,649 (71.2 per cent of the eligible population). The total number of fully vaccinated people is 153,590 (56.7 per cent of the total population or 67.2 per cent of the eligible population). The eligible population represents those who are 12 years and older.
