Police are on the scene on Black Rock Main Road, St. Michael where one man has died and four others have been injured in a shooting around 2:40 this morning.
Police say the five men were all travelling in a vehicle, when they were shot at several times.
The driver of the vehicle died on the spot, while the other 4 received several injuries about their bodies and are receiving medical treatment.
Police have cordoned off the road and diverted all vehicular traffic as the road is impassable at this time.
This is the 19th recorded homicide for 2024.
