Barbados Senior Men’s National Football team completed a perfect Concacaf Nations League campaign, by thrashing the Bahamas 6-2 last night in their final match of the 2024-2025 Edition at the Wildey Turf.
The Tridents, who came from behind, were led by double strikes from captain Andre Applewhaite in the 8th and 52nd minutes, and from Sheran Hoyte in the 26th and 64th, while there were also goals from Niall Reid-Stephen and Omani Leacock.
Brandon Adderley gave the Bahamas the lead in the sixth minute, before Barbados romped back to top group ‘A’ of league ‘C’ with 12 points.
Barbados await their opponents for the Concacaf Gold Cup home and away play-in, slated for next month.
