The Police Praedial Larceny Squad is taking crop theft very seriously and the efforts are concentrated in the southern side of the country where the majority of theft takes place.
CBC News spoke with Deputy Commissioner of Police Ian Branch who says they have been working hand in hand with the farmers to get a handle on the situation.
