Former Prime Minister Professor the Right Honourable Owen Arthur is being remembered as one of Barbados’ greatest leaders.
The description by the Barbados Labour Party, which he led, comes as it commemorates the fourth anniversary of his passing.
The BLP also notes the party is using the occasion to reflect on his inspirational leadership, as it continues to strive for a better life for Barbadians.
Born on October 17 1949, Professor Arthur was Prime Minister from 1994 to 2008.
He passed away on July 27, 2020.
