Barbados had to settle for a draw with Jamaica in the first round of the regional Under-19 cricket tournament in St. Vincent and the Grenadines.

Resuming day 3 on 61 for 4 in reply to Barbados Under-19's 223.

Jamaica under-19's were bowled out for 140 to give Barbados the lead.

Camarie Boyce took 3 for 38 and Joshua Bishop 3 for 40.

In pushing for victory, Barbados declared their 2nd innings on 129 for 3, with Kadeem Alleyne topscoring with 50 including 3-fours and 2-sixes, while Nico Reifer contributed 47 with 5-fours.

Set 213 for victory, Jamaica ended the day and match on 138 for 6.

Boyce took 2 for 36.

Meanwhile there was one victory in the round.

Guyana under-19's defeated the Leewards by 10 wickets.

Scores -: Leewards 116 & 114; Guyana 229 and 4 without loss.

Then in the third game, which was also a draw, Windward under-19's 238 all out; T&T under-19's 304 for 8. Navin Bidaisee made 87 and Crystian Thorton 75.
