Former South Africa captain and Barbados Pride batsman A.B de Villiers has revealed he is tired and is stepping down from playing international cricket.
The 34-year-old, who made his test debut against England in December 2004, last played for his country against Australia in March this year.
He holds a phenomenal number of milestones including the world record for the fastest ODI 50 and 150. The second highest individual test score for South Africa 278 not out. The highest points - 935 - by a South African on the ICC test rankings,and has claimed the coveted South Africa cricketer of the year award twice - 2014 and 2015.
He retires with an incredible test average of 50.66, inclusive of 22 centuries.
