Barbados is reaching out to its youth for technological solutions to boost foreign trade.
An initiative called the Blue Flame Hack-a-thon, is giving dozens of young people that platform.
Government is taking steps to harness the power of the country's diaspora.
This is according to Minister of International Business Ronald Toppin.
He was speaking during the recently held Blue Flame Hackathon.
That initiative was launched to find technological solutions to export and foreign sales challenges.
Minister Toppin encouraged Barbadians to use technology to build products which can be sold to the world, through the Barbadian diaspora.
