Barbadians are being told to come out and support one of the staple events of the Crop Over festival.

It’s the  .

Producer Ayesha Gibson-Gill says they are tasked with commemorating the Day of Significance every year.

She says, this year, they will be bringing dance theatre and play under the theme, "What's Good for the Goose."

She was speaking during a rehearsal for that event at the Queens Park Steel Shed Thursday night.

One of the title sponsors is the City of Bridgetown Cooperative Credit Union Limited.

Vice President Adlai Stephenson says as a community based credit union, they have a responsibility to support Crop Over.
