Joseph McClaren King, age 97, better known as “Joe”, of #12, Yorkshire, Christ Church, formerly of Four Roads, St. Philip, member of the Barbados Legion, Honorary member of the Miami Swimmers and Cruisers Club, Husband of the late Joyce King, Father of Curville “Jimmy”, Richard and Wyane King, Grandfather of Brenda, Ian, Jennifer, Kirk, Justin and Jamal King, Brother of the late Ione Jones, Ned, Guy, Athiel and Earl King, Uncle of Barbara, Tony, Jermone, Athiel, Ingrid, Matrid, Sandra and Michael King, Relative of the King, Gaskin and Brathwaite families, Friend of Iva Weekes, Larrier, Chandler, Holder and Ellis families.


The funeral of Joseph McClaren King leaves the C. H. Best Funeral Home, St. Martin, St. Philip on Thursday, September 14th, 2017 for St. Martin’s Anglican Church, St. Martin, St. Philip, where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 3:30 p.m. for a Service of Thanksgiving and Praise, followed by the interment in the Churchyard.


The Organist and members of the choir are asked to attend.

Floral tributes may be sent to C. H. Best Funeral Home no later than 12:00 noon on Thursday.

Viewing of the body will take place in the Chapel of the C. H. Best Funeral Home from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
