The man charged by police for hitting 22 year old Ramar Nurse on the right side of his head with a piece of wood last week has been remanded to prison.
Thirty-six year old Canute Hiran Ward of Dayrells Hill, Christ Church appeared in the Holetown Magistrates court before Magistrate Wanda Blair yesterday charged with committing serious bodily harm.
Ward was not required to plead to the offence and will return to court on February 1st.
Video, reportedly showing the incident, has been circulating on social media.
In a release, police reminded the traveling public to exercise control during their commute.
They've asked commuters not to allow traffic problems, road rage or their anger to take control and cause them to lose control.
They've also asked people to plan ahead and allow for time delays during their journey.
