Barbados has recorded another road fatality.
A 49-year-old man lost his life Tuesday morning after the car in which he was a passenger collided with a lorry going in the opposite direction along Brereton St Philip just before eight.
Police have not yet released the identity of the man, but the female driver of the car had to be removed using the Jaws of Life. She was taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital for medical attention and her condition is unknown.
The driver of the lorry was not injured.
His death brings to six the number of people who have died on the nation's roads this year.
