Students at Queen’s College got a closer look at how obesity directly affects their social and physical wellbeing Thursday morning when, the Heart and Stroke Foundation teamed up with the Healthy Caribbean Coalition and its ambassadors Senator Crystal Haynes and Krystal Boyea for a takeover of morning assembly.

The student body was encouraged to take part in on the spot physical activities and interactive health-education games.

Director of the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Professor Margaret Anne St. John, stressed the dire consequences of poor eating habits.

Professor St. John believes it is way too easy for children to be unhealthy.
