After it was reported that Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton have called a truce for their alleged rift, a new report suggests that the feud may be reignited. The pregnant Duchess of Sussex allegedly was a no-show at Kate's 37th birthday party which was attended by her closest friends and family at Anmer Hall, their Norfolk country home near Sandringham, on Sunday, January 13.
Daily Mail claimed that Meghan and her husband Prince Harry "didn't get an invite" to the intimate bash. That was raising some eyebrows because Anmer boasts ten bedrooms and plenty of room for guests.
While the Duke and Duchess of Sussex didn't attend the party for the Duchess of Cambridge, a slew of her girl pals were there to celebrate the milestone. Among the guests were Emilia Jardine-Paterson, who played hockey with the mother of three at Marlborough College, and husband David.
In related news, it was reported that Meghan has lost another royal staff member. According to a new report, a bodyguard that was employed by the Scotland Yard police for the former "Suits" actress has quit the job after just six months.
"Unlike someone who has grown up in the royal family and has been used to having close protection from an early age, it can be constraining," a source told The Sunday Times. "Even though [Meghan] was a famous actress, she could still do what she wanted in the way of getting around freely."
"But in her current role she can't go anywhere without her protection team, and that's a massive constraining force on an individual like her," the source continued saying. While the bodyguard's name has not been revealed, insiders said that she is leaving the police force entirely.
