Prime Minister Mia Mottley is to meet next week with major developers on the island, including those behind the controversial Hyatt Hotel.
She says the aim is to iron out a number of issues preventing developers from moving forward with their plans.
Ms Mottley says it's all in an effort to promote growth in the local economy and no developers will be left out.
Ms Mottley's comments came at a ground breaking ceremony for a new development at the site of the old Plantation Garden Theatre.
She says investor confidence is returning to Barbados, despite the country's tough economic position.
That development, expected to bring millions of dollars to the local economy, will feature a number of luxury residences, will cater to visitors seeking an extended stay on the island.
