Transport ministry launches safety program
16 Mar

The Ministry of Transport is concerned about the increasing number of road traffic accidents and the fatalities they've caused.

As a result, it has launched a programme, spearheaded by the National Road Safety Council, to get people to pay more attention on the roads.

Transport and Works Minister, Michael Lashley says it’s called the Pedestrian Partnership Programme.

Mr Lashley says the ministry is also working to get its electronic vehicle registering programme on track.
