Sandals Barbados is promising greater choice in accommodation and even more luxurious facilities when its newest hotel is opened just next door.
General Manager Fernand Zievinger spoke about it as the resort hosted an appreciation event for its repeat guests.
A feast prepared for Sandals Barbados' repeat guests to say thank you for their patronage over the years.
This event is dubbed a reunion and complete with entertainment, is a celebration of their loyalty to the resort.
General manager Fernand Zievinger says they'll have even more to look forward to, when Sandals Royal Barbados is completed next to the existing hotel.
Mr Zieinger says construction is progressing well with 900 to 1000 workers on the site.
He adds the finished facility will have 222 rooms, constituting a substantial expansion of the Sandals operation in Barbados.
While encouraging the guests to continue coming, the general manager also paid tribute to staff, whose service contributes in no small measure to the decision by visitors to return again and again.
Addressing the gathering, CEO of the Barbados Hotel and Tourism Association Rudy Grant hailed Sandals as an important tourism partner.
He also thanked the repeat guests, saying Barbados is happy to continue sharing with them all it has offer as a destination of choice.
