The Caribbean Broadcasting Corporation will be bringing some of the 2018 Barbados Independence Invitational Games live and tape delayed on CBC TV 8 and radio stations, as part of the partnership with the Barbados Olympic Association in this year's third edition.
The announcement was made during a media conference held at the BOA headquarters in Wildey.
Acting general manager of CBC Rod London revealed some of the benefits to be expected from the partnership.
President of the BOA Sandra Osbourne applauded the evolution of the beach aspect of the games, with the addition of more disciplines including football, surfing and tennis.
Meanwhile, Manager of Sports at the Barbados Tourism Marketing Inc Devon Chase welcomed the expansion of the games as it aids in increasing the number of tourists to the island, especially around November.
