Barbados is being encouraged to capitalise on new trade and investment opportunities emerging in the Latin America and Caribbean and Arabian Gulf regions.
The advice came at the end of the third edition of the Global Business Forum on Latin America in Panama.
A total of 800 delegates from 50 countries attended GBF Latin America - Panama 2019, including heads of state, ministers, top government officials, policymakers and business leaders.
Several bilateral business meetings were held on the sidelines of the event.
The two-day forum identified sectors where businesses in the Arabian Gulf and LAC regions can expand their cooperation, namely food security and agri-business, finance and fintech, trade, tourism, and renewable energy.
