Barbados’ efforts to make its environment as pristine as possible have resulted in the creation of a new tourist attraction.
It involved the sinking of an old ship by the Coastal Zone Management Unit (CZMU).
The CZMU’s Director Dr. Leo Brewster, spoke with CBC News about the initiative’s dual purpose of helping the fish repopulate the reef and provide a new diving attraction.
