The Barbados Police Service reports that 14-year-old Tanik Jemmott of Mills Apartment, Haynesville, St. James and 14-year-old Ranika Husbands of Block 13F Haynesville, also in St. James, are in police custody.
The girls were initially reported as missing from Tuesday, April 11, 2023, and Thursday, April 13, 2023, respectively.
On Saturday, Acting Police Communications and Public Affairs Officer Inspector Stephen Griffith, warned that it is a criminal offence to harbour missing minors.
