An unspecified incident at the Grantley Adams International Airport resulted in an aircraft being grounded and searched by Police.
Confirmation of this from Airport officials and the Barbados Police Service.
Police Commissioner Richard Boyce provided some details.
The Airport’s CEO Hadley Bourne says the affected passengers are being taken care of by the airline involved.
He thanked the Police, Barbados Fire Service and others involved in the response to the incident.
