At least seven people were injured after a car ran into a house at Crane Road, St Philip this morning.
The owner of the house Harriet Davis, who did not wish to be shown on camera, said the incident occurred about eight this morning.
She said while this is the third time something like this has happened at the place she’s called home for over 30 years, the damage this time is worse.
Ms. Davis tells CBC News the impact caused a wardrobe in the house to fall over onto her granddaughter.
What’s even more shocking is the actions of the male driver after the accident.
The Barbados Fire Service confirmed eights officers, along with a rescue tender and a water tender from the Worthing and Bridgetown stations under the command of Divisional Officer Wayne Vaughn responded to the call.
The injured parties were taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital by ambulance for treatment.
