It certainly is the focus of Minister of Tourism and International Transport Ian Gooding-Edghill.
The Minister made the revelation as he addressed the Annual General Meeting of the Intimate Hotels of Barbados at the Island Inn Resort today.
Calling attention to the Gulf states, he told the audience that coupled with Latin America, they will take some time, but they are high on the agenda of his Ministry and that of the Barbados Tourism Marketing Inc.
The Tourism Minister admitted that an aggressive marketing campaign had already begun, elements of which were seen last Friday.
