KINGSTON, Jamaica, CMC – The police on Thursday launched a manhunt for a man facing sentencing for gun possession who fled the Supreme Court building in downtown Kingston.
Being sought is Anthony Williams who is from the community of Allman Town in the Corporate Area.
The police report that Williams escaped custody by jumping from the building onto Tower Street.
He was set to be sentenced on Thursday, following a recent conviction for possession of a firearm.
Williams is already serving time in prison for a separate gun possession charge.
