Leader of the Opposition Democratic Labour Party, Ralph Thorne wants consensus found on further advancing the disabled community.
He believes Barbados is still not fully accommodating to the disabled as he called for the dismantling of barriers.
Mr. Thorne recognised strides made under the DLP and the elevation of then-Senator Kerry-ann Ifill to the post of President of the Senate.
He says the then administration saw her equally fit for the position.
Mr. Thorne further welcomed news of pending Legislation promised by Minister Humphrey.
