Barbadian Barry Banfield is through to the 3rd round of the repercharge at the ISA World Masters Surfing championship in El Salvador.
Banfield finished 2nd today in Heat two of the Masters Men Over 40 repercharge with a 6.50 and 5.00, for a best wave total of 11.50.
The winner of the heat was Shane Conwell of Australia, who had a total of 12.53.
