A 52-year-old man is Barbados’ latest road fatality.
He is Anderson Lovell of Butlers Avenue, Gall Hill, Christ Church.
Police say, Lovell, was riding an electric bicycle and collided with a Mitsubishi flatbed truck along Sargeants Village, Main Road in Christ Church.
Police say the truck was heading towards Wildey while the Lovell was travelling towards Sheraton Centre when he overtook two parked route taxis and encroached the path of the oncoming truck.
Personnel from the Barbados Ambulance Service attended the scene however, a medical doctor a the scene pronounced Lovell dead.
Anderson died about quarter past four this evening.
