BPWCCUL cautioned not to rest on its laurels

With assets of over 1.7 billion dollars, and touted as one of the largest credit unions in the region, the Barbados Public Workers Co-Operative Credit Union Limited is being cautioned not to rest on its laurels.

It’s coming from the General Manager of the Barbados Co-operative & Credit Union League Limited, Anthony Pilgrim who says the credit union represents 41.36% of the total population and 5.7% of the total financial system.

He was addressing the Credit Union’s Annual International Credit Union Day Luncheon.

Mr. Pilgrim is calling on public workers as the largest credit union on the island, to lead the way in contributing to national development.
