Prime Minister Mia Amor Mottley has welcomed the news that Barbados has received an upgrade from the American credit rating agency, Fitch Incorporated.
Fitch revealed this week that it had moved the island’s long-term foreign currency issuer default rating from ‘B to ‘B Plus ‘. Ms Mottley says the upgrade improves the ability to do more.
The Prime Minister’s comments came during last evening’s “Christ Church Speaks,” which was held at the Foundation School.
