Strong support for the amendments to the Sexual Offences Bill.
It’s coming from MP for St. George North and General Secretary of the Barbados Workers Union Toni Moore.
She says they are rooted in the principle of consent.
Ms. Moore is particularly supportive of Sections 2-5 and 2-6 where one spouse commits the offense of rape by having intercourse with the other without consent.
