As the Yuletide season approaches the Queen Elizabeth Hospital is asking families not to abandon their elderly relatives at the healthcare institution.
Chief Operations Officer Dr. Christine Greenidge says historically there is an uptick in elderly able-bodied people left at the facility, as the Christmas season draws near.
She says there are between 35 to 45 elderly people at the QEH, who should not be there.
