Barbados is working closely with the Pan American Health Organisation, PAHO, to ensure the island is well prepared for future health emergencies.
Chief Medical Officer, Dr. the Most Honourable Kenneth George says work includes enhancing the health infrastructure and improved digital health systems.
Dr. George’s comments came during the 76th Session of the Regional Committee of World Health Organisation for the Americas in Washington D.C.
Dr. George has outlined priority areas Barbados will focus on during the meeting.
